Built by jammers, for jammers.
Rhythm started in a cramped apartment in 2023 — three musicians, one laptop, and a shared frustration: finding people to play with was harder than learning the instrument. We built the thing we wished existed.
How it started
Our co-founders Priya, Marcus, and Yuki had been playing together for years across three different cities. Every session required a group chat, a scheduling nightmare, and someone inevitably dropping out. The music was great. The logistics were not.
So they built Rhythm — a place where the session comes first. No social feed noise, no follower counts. Just find your people, set a time, and play.
What we believe
Music over metrics
We don't show follower counts or likes. The only number that matters is how many sessions you've played.
Every genre, every timezone
From Carnatic to cumbia, jazz to J-pop — Rhythm is built for the full spectrum of music, not just what's trending.
Collaboration over competition
We celebrate the session, not the solo. Rhythm is a space where beginners jam with veterans and everyone leaves better.
Safe spaces to experiment
Every session is a judgment-free zone. Try the weird chord. Attempt the difficult rhythm. That's what we're here for.
